Congrats! We've had both color schemes in various boats. In my experience both color combo's look great. The grey looks amazing particularly when it's new, shortly after it will show EVERYTHING. It's really hard to keep clean. The darker browns hide dirt and general wear & tear a little bitter...

That's my problem we'd like to do the same upgrade. But I can't locate a black trim kit. You can order the newer CRX-1065U/F which includes the trim kit, but the measurements are slightly different than the CRX-65... confusing.

Cop, is the new one the same CRX-65 you had used before or the newer CRX-1065? When you originally switched did you have to do any cutting?

My boat had a Raymarine Ray230 in it rather than the Northstar. I also looked at the Icom M400, but ultimately decided I wanted everything to be from one manufacturer. I like that all my Garmin is easily integrated, and updates directly from one app.

Gents, as promised here is the info on the SeaRay Systems Monitor, with pics! Part number on the box, and the unit was 1907585. As you can see in the pictures, the new style is made of metal rather than plastic and is much more robust. It was really simple to swap, required basic wiring skills...
