Thank you! Yes, you're right and focusing on the west coast is apparently the best option. We have been looking at different manufacturers, Meridian, Carver, Silverton, and the Sea Ray 390 Motor Yacht looks a good fit for what we need. Working hard on trying to find one!

Great to know that you know a captain!. To bring her to San Diego from let's say Florida, I will have to go through the Panama Canal! Would be a great trip, a couple of months, and very costly I guess, in particular for the adult beverages.. :)

Do not know yet, still looking for a boat and checking different scenarios as far as the cost of transportation should we find one let's say in Florida or New Jersey and have to move her to San Diego.

I am looking at a Sea Ray 390 and wondering if we need to disassemble it for transportation
