Still a newbie on this stuff, so maybe you can point me in the right direction. I've been looking at several sites to order a custom cover for my 200 Sport. Currently it has a Bimini Top. I don't see an option to order with or without a Bimini Top. Does that mean they are made so you can...
My boat only has one battery, and I have been reading many of the threads about adding a second battery, but I have a question. I already have a portable Black&Decker battery booster for the car. Any reason I can't use it for emergency backup on the boat? No doubt the second battery is the...
After I get my SR200 Sport on the trailer and ready to head home, should I do anything to help support the stern drive in the up position? Sure seems like some type of strap would be appropriate between the prop and the ski tow eye, but I haven't seen any reference to doing such a thing.
We've got two teens that need to learn to ski. I've heard the names of many lakes in Oklahoma, but didn't think I might have a boat some day, so never asked the right questions. What are your favorite lakes, or lakes we should try?
Lot's of lakes and too little time!
I'm a new/used boat owner, and checking the fluid levels. Gear Lube is OK, but I'm sure I will need to add soon. When I went to the store to invest in Gear Oil, I noticed two types of QuicSilver products, High Performance Gear Lube and Premium Gear Lube. One is 85W-90 and the other is 80W-90...
First, I have searched the forums, and have read and understand what everyone says to do about this problem. My problem sounds just like what I see here on other threads. I'm ready to get me a drill bit and see if I can get whatever out of the hole, but I do have an additional question. Can I...
We live in Yukon near Lake Overholser. At this point the only place we have gotten the boat wet is on Lake Stanley-Draper. We'll probably be spending time on Fort Cobb Lake as well. Hope to see you guys there some day!
Just bought my first boat, and have lot's to learn. Glad I found this site. I'm sure this will help with my many questions. I'm sure whatever problems I may have, someone has already found the solution. Looking forward to getting out on the water!
I think I found it. The trailer does say Sea Ray but the unit is a Model A-60 Actuator from UFP Trailer products. Found an owners manual, now just need to read. Thanks for your fast response. I was surprised when I checked back to find replies ! Hope I'll be able to help someone some day.
