Todd, i know your out there somewhere. ever thought about putting a teak/plastic teak down on your swin platform? i have davits that i will never use and shold be removed, and i have a magma full size grill with pedastal and a 65qt tundra i'm planning on dumping on the platform to keep open...

Todd, yes only one had a leak, from under the housing. i did get it off, it was a son of a *****, lots of sealant. thanks for the screen procedure, i didnt want to rip the rubber membrane. and i wasnt sure. but its all done now. as always thanks for the good info. Matt

Westerbeke dealer only. dont try to get creative. not worth it. trust me if you bought a crash kit/(spare parts kit) your all set. In the same boat as you, 5.0 Kw. it's dealer or nothing. get the parts from them, deal with a west coast or midwest dealer, change the fuel filters on the genset...
