My remote start/stop module has failed. Any thoughts on where to get one? It's a Sea Ray exclusive that was added to the Westerbeke. Manufacturer has gone out of business. Boat is 1999 56 Sedan Bridge.

My controller to start/stop my Westerbeke Diesel generator has quit working properly. According to Intelletic it is no longer made. Has anyone run into this and determined a solution?

Has anyone figured out how to remove the cabin door? It looks like I may have to replace the fridge and even using that Alabama math I learnt, 24" won't fit in a 21" hole.

If yours is like mine it's located under the motor mount and right next to the stringer. It's a true pain to get to, fuel spillage a big concern for me. Unless you are nimble, relatively small and young, which I am none of those things, then I'd hire it out!

On my 2000 model 420 Sea ray, the Mercruiser 454 Horizon EPI port engine performs great until 45 minutes to 2 hours of running at 3400-3800 rpm, when it suddenly losing RPMs and begins running very rough. If I pull it back to 2000-2500 rpm, it runs smooth, but misses above that. Fuel pressure...

I need to add freon to my Cruisair unit to keep it from freezing up on heat cycle. Mechanic says the water temp is too cold (<60) to let it pull a vacuum. Is that right? Am I going to have to wait until spring for heat (at which time I won't need it)?

Not certain, but is suspect it's simply a spare. Sea Ray used the same panel for several size boats back then. The Sundancer has spreader (radar arch) lights on some models.

They are in the anchor locker, starboard side.

I cleaned out the horns, blew them out and re-installed with better results, but still not as good as I'd like. Has anyone tried upgrading the horns in place? I'd prefer not to add a set to the bridge structure but the location could be most of the problem.

Anyone know where the air horn compressor is located? Mine is a 2000 420AC Gas model. Horn sounds like a upset duck and I think it has a blockage.

My 2000 420 has it on the starboard side under the helm. There is a circuit breaker panel behind the seat and behind that is a board mounted against the starboard side of the bridge, with the spotlight and other wiring blocks on it.

Somebody at the factory must have had a niece in interior design school that needed a summer job!

On my 42 the lower amp is located in the port lockerbehind a panel where the CD changers are. The upper unit is under the helm panel. Just start crawling around and looking in the out of the way places!
