Not sure if it could handle twin 250’s, I was looking for a boat with engines that big, I just got this boat and the previous owner had just put these 115’s on it, he wanted a sportfish style boat after getting into some 4.5-5 footers on the stream.
After a couple of trips out and an average speed of 36 mph and running out 25 miles then trolling and a little drifting, the last trip was 71 miles and fuel burn was approximately 4.5 miles per gallon, I’m no math wiz but my wife is, she did the figures. If I had bought the engines I would have...
Uploading some interior images, sorry took a minute I’m dealing with cancer and some times can’t function very well, if anyone would like to see anything else let me know and I’ll take some more pictures, I did forget to get one of the inside of the console where the potty is.
Thanks everyone, I’ll get some interior pics either this evening or tomorrow, we are heading out early morning for the beginning day of red snapper season!!!!!
Well I found out it's always a good thing to get in touch with someones mother when there's an issue, Original Owners mom just happened to answer the phone today,I was gonna try the storage idea, well after about a half hour talking about life in general momma has promised a new title will be on...
This is what I'm thinking, I did pay for the boat already, also I spoke with a cop friend and he said if the original owner wanted to he could report it stolen and I would be charged with receiving stolen property, really wish the guy would say hey give me X dollars and I'll fix the title issue.
Yes it does but you have to attempt to make contact with the original owner and if they can't be contacted you can get an abandoned vehicle title, but the original owner is being difficult and said he would contest the abandon title.
Well come to find out my new girl isn't gonna be as good a deal as I thought she was.
The title is no good, the Jerk that sold it to me forged the signature and he has left town, I contacted the previous owner and he will not help straighten out the title issue :(
I will for sure keep ya updated on the progress.
The ole gal is named after my favorite movie as a kid so I think she'll be a match for me and my wife.
Cool thanks for the reply, I'm putting this ole gal back together, just bought her for $550.00 and have to finish the engine rebuild and figure out where all the wood pieces go on the inside.
