I believe I cannot replace the water pump switch alone. It is one of several mounted on the "switchpad" located on the helm. The push button works fine but the green light will not shut off.
Yes, the freshwater pump. As I said, the switch works, but the light stays on even when the pump is off. I thought it might be a diode for that one particular light.
The problem is with the switch for the water pump. When I push the switch to turn it off the pump the light stays on, although the pump is in fact turned off. All the other switches function properly. Only the water pump switch light is "stuck" on. Anyone else have this problem?
Last Sunday made the trip to Newport for the Folk Festival at Fort Adams. Music was great, the food was plentiful and a good time was had by all.

My wife and I cruised to Cuttyhunk from Point Judiith Thursday morning and returned Saturday. It was a great trip and the weather was fantastic. We found the people there very friendly and we explored the island Thursday after dropping anchor and dingying ashore.
We tied up at the dock Friday...
We made the trip to New Harbor Saturday morning, spent the night off Dinghy Beach. Woke early and cruised to Old Harbor. It was a great little trip. The boat was great as was the weather. A good time was had by all. Here are a few pics...
I have a 2001 260 DA. The port side tab does not work. The switch is the problem. Can I purchase somewhere the port side momentary switch only? I removed it and cleaned the contacts and it work a few days ago, but now it is not working again. It is a 6 pole switch, not like the newer ones with...
I've been back in the water for 2 weeks. I'm there almost every day. You are RIGHT next door! Give me a yell and we'll swap tales. I'd like to see your boat.

I am installing a wired ISimple FM modulator which will play and charge the IPOD. The head unit is the XMD1 which does not have an aux input.
My question is: can I simply splice into the 12v and ground wires of the wiring harness attached to the head unit to supply the power and ground? If yes...
