Sorry just saw this, are you still looking for info on this? I added a leash too for while underway, because its just an undercabinet tv mount used the wrong way. Without a leash, it would snap off while underway or rip the screws out due to the torque...

Update to my maintenance doc below, will update to excel eventually... Lots of stuff the strikethrough didn't convey from MS word. The transom assemblies have been replaced, motors are prepped and should be dropping in soon. Lumitec below water lights installed but no work on the glass dash...

    2005 260 Fuel Leaking

On the 280DA the fuel sender is located underneath the aft mattress under an access panel. However, based off your symptoms, I would also consider that the lines that run from the fill neck to the tank could also be leaking.

Does anyone know how much the searay OEM system replacement costs? I ran this up the pole at work, we are considering building a system as a company, preferably we want to provide a system that allows drop in replacement of the original system parts, instead of doing a whole system install.

    Troublesome EIM switchpads

    Troublesome EIM switchpads

Certainly if I was doing it myself I would count time at zero. However that said I do product and system design for a living so I have plenty of contacts for creating wire harnesses, doing assembly, laser cutting parts, injection molding, etc. I'm probably going to do one for my boat by...

    Troublesome EIM switchpads

Hi all, After having trouble with my 280DA starboard switch pad and also not feeling like spending 4 grand to fix it, I am toying with the idea of just making a kit myself using traditional wiring and carlings. If I used my manufacturing contacts to have units produced at a lower cost, would...

Welp, Was out over the weekend and the starboard switchpad went completely bonkers, predominantly the nav, anchor, complight, and bilgelight buttons. Crazy indicators when stuff isn't on, and the compartment light sometimes is actually the horn. I really wanted to avoid spending the money on...
