Wanted to post some updates here:
1- I stopped working with MarineMax directly, Im done with the lack of professionalism in caring what happens long term to my boat. Working locally with a company that does warranty work for big things and is very fair on pricing for small things. They also do...
Hey, I would look at my comments and post earlier in this thread. If you click my profile you can find it but I wrote about Mike sensitive research into changing my propellers and what happen when I did. Essentially when I change the pitch and the props to a three blade I was able to get the...
When you tilt the engines out of the water, you lose some maneuverability but the fact that we can tilt the engines out allows us to be in shallow areas bigger boats cant get to!
Really? In Florida they are hard to find. Before I bought mine someone else wanted it but he didnt put a deposit down, then he had to go to New York to find one.
Great boat, I would check the generator and make sure it runs for like 15-20 min. Check the work history of the boat as well
Personally from my research and testing, I would go with the props I mentioned above.
When I had put 4 blade props on my 370 it had great torque and handling at low speeds but it was worse for getting on plane and running it.
Thanks!
I spent a lot of hours on the phone with various mechanics, boat owners, Sea Ray, Mercury and I wanted to share my results because its a relatively inexpensive way to solve this problem. I know some others have had this power issue.
These props were on backorder, but I convinced Sea...
Hey All,
Wanted to post an update, it's been over a year with this boat. We live in SW Florida and use her 365 days a year. We keep her in the water and during the summer she is scraped every month and during the winter every 2-3 months.
No major issues. Had a fuel censor replaced and some...
I havent been able to fit all the cushions. I leave them at home and use that space for other things.
In terms of power, really? I noticed if I stay around 40-50% fuel, everything is good, but if I top off, if I have 3 people on the stern and Im at the helm I cant get out of the hole.
Thanks! Honestly for its class, I think the Venture is the best boat out there, but I understand why Sea Ray discontinued it.
- The outboards allow me to go into shallow areas like lagoons and most SW Florida areas. Realistically only needing 2ft under the boat really makes having outboards the...
