    We owned a 99 280 SS Anniversary w/ T 350 mags on a 3 axle trailer. We kept the boat in the Chicago Harbors and boated on Lake Michigan. While the 280 SS has a lower freeboard than an SD we often had the boat in 3-4' waves and I got caught in a few stoms in 5-6'. The boat handled the 3-4's...
