Working on the ignition system in our 1977 Searay 240 Sundancer & need the wireing diagram.Does power run from the ignition switch direct to the coil,or are there other systems involved? Thanks

On our 77 240 Sundancer 351 ford,OMC,mallory points distributor,it would only start with the ballast resistor removed.We converted to pertronix ignition.Now it will only start with a jumper direct from the battry to the + side of the coil.The ignition switch has 3 posts & they all have 12v to...
