Rollercoastr, I agree it's not a true trawler. I have seen it described as part cruiser, part houseboat and part trawler. I'm not totally going away but I didn't want to ruffle any feathers if I started asking question pertaining to Chris Crafts -- laughs
I want to take a minute and thank everyone for their help and sharing their knowledge. I recently came across a Chris Craft Corinthian 380 I could not pass up. Giving up the Sea Ray was part of the deal so I guess I am moving over to the Trawler forum. I hope folks there are as friendly.

This is really a shot in the dark. I decided to replace the switches on my 1983 270. When I pulled the panel, I found 2 wires not connected, but all switches have wires (granted some switches have multi-wires). The 2 wires not connect are factory wires and are numbered - 2 and 14.

My creativity pales in comparison to what I've seen. i was a coat and tie guy for 34 years. I have always had a fascination with anything on 2 wheels. Here's a few of the things I build.
jssearay, I am an expert on buffing fiberglass :) -- I'm lying too :) -- But I have just finished buffing and polishing an older SR and it's not a bad job. It's work, but very doable with the right products and a good buffer. For me, the dull gelcoat wouldn't be a deal breaker.
