1 Gal Bottle Connected to Holding Tank

First boat with vacu-flush and still learning soooooo much over-all, so thanks fo any help. Boat is an '82 360 Express if that helps any, but we have the original system and can tell by the state at time of purchase earlier this year. The one item left for now in this area is an empty bottle...

    1990 270 da

This is my first with twins, and I'll never go back. The balance is what sells me. Seemed with the previous, being a single, the boat always leaned one way or the other. Then you add the manuverability in tight spaces a BIG plus. But like others have said, to each his own...

    Dock Water Connection

My suggestion is don't do it unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. We thought it was a good option until a pipe burst (actually poor plumbing reconnection by a "mechanic"). Luckily we weren't on dock water and only pumped ~ 30 gallons before the frech water tank emptied. Had it been connected, probably...

A leak that is driving me crazy

Had a similar problem and it turned out to be on the elbow just off the fitting on the bottom of the holding tank connecting the pump out hose. The dye is a good idea, but was hard to see in the bottom of the blige.

TMAIN,,,, as an owner of old boats forever... I can say you will never be through. I agree with others that it HAS to be a labor of love... We bought our '82 360 in February... Everything seemed to work, and inspection came out "ok". Bought it knowing port engine would need replacing, and...

    1994 330 Sundancer interior makeover

Am interested in the leveling "quick drying" product you mentioned. Think the admiral is almost afraid to tackle ,,,, seems she has forgotten the "he can do anything" mentality she had 30 yrs ago... I think between the two of us we can get the job done... Good luck with yours, and...

    Lake Conroe TX Anyone?

Wow,,, great to see other Lake conroe boaters posting. Traveler was right about the pic being from The Palms gas dock. Not sure about spiders in the dry storage, but will take texxmark's word on it. I do know the wet slips have a misting system to keep them out. We currently call Walden...

Replaced Counter Rotating Engine with Standard... Suggestions?

Thanks everyone!!!! Went back to my mechanic. He has agreed to stand behind his call on the engine. He has offered rebuild the original engine, and we'll share the workload of swapping them out. I expected there was no "easy" solution, or one that seemed relatively inexpensive but one can...
