Good thread and I, too, am sick of sumo squatting to get that hatch open on my 2002 280DA. Can anybody give me a lead as to where to buy the electric actuators or what to look for or avoid?

2002 Mercruiser MCM 496 magnum Smartcraft engine guardian system kicked in after 30 minutes of running at 2500 rpm on a hot day. Engine temp never got over 170 degrees, which is what it usually runs. We got back in on limited engine power at idle speed. Mechanic says he detected overheated...
