no I have not had an issue with that but if you have any other questions about this boat I have had mine for 10 years and love it if it wasnt for this one problem are you in salt water I have no anode plate on transom mine is on lower unit
I agree with you but I have actually been to 2 different reputable dealers and have bought a couple of different sets I can see your flappers are bigger but of the same design and actually I brought it to the marina and he said he modified a set to fit but I still have the same problem maybe...
thanks for answering I have a 1987 monaco it has the 350 with 260 horse but those are the flappers in your picture they fit so tight they wont operate correctly I know its tough to answer tis one I have been battling with it is there any way to get the old design
the original exhaust flappers have been discontinued and the newly designed ones dont fit properly no matter how I try. they are not operating properly ,and causing a overheating problem at low rpms any ideas how I can solve this problem the old flappers sre no longer available
