Corinthian Marine Carpet has that template on file as I had one made for them for our ‘05 and your’s should be the same. I am very happy with their finished product
The best location I could find was behind the recessed nook in the starboard side near the captains foot-well. Basically the plastic insert that has a drink-holder, a tray, and a speaker in it. It unscrews to reveal a fairly large flat surface area where I was able to mount several very large...
Re: Fresh water system blockage
If you have debris in your supply lines, adding pressure (water or air) won't help too much if your filters/screens are still installed on your faucets/fixtures. If you have that much junk floating around, I'm guessing each of your fixtures has it's screens...
Unfortunately I'm not close to you or I'd be interested. Looking for something similar close to me like a Whaler 13. Would this have enough power to pull a kid in a tube and/or on skis?
Thx,
Eric
I have the same motor but a 15hp. I chased similar issues you've had with starting. Definitely make sure you are not running fuel with ethanol. That's step 1. They are very sensitive to anything that's not pure fuel/oil. If your carb has been properly serviced, etc. and fuel is not the...
Agreed, I thought that was pretty low, particularly for an exterior speaker. Seems like it's designed to be driven by a stock(ish) head unit, not for any type of amplified application. I think the stock amps they install on our boats are about 40 watts per channel and they're not very clean...
Well, the soft grounding and mud churning could be a total coincidence..... but I'm suspicious/optimistic that you may have sucked up mud, killed the seawater impeller, not provided enough cooling to the "exhaust flaps" (or whatever the real technical term is) which caused them to fail, then...
Wow, that's pretty bad for it to break down that quickly. I have several sets of outdoor speakers that have never been covered that have lasted over 10yrs as well. I guess the good news is, anything you pick other than those should outlast them ;-).
Just checked them out and I like the...
Re: Kohler 5E spark plug cross reference?
"Not sure exactly the model year you have but I use GM46180=NGK BPR4ES=Champion RN14YC. I get the NGK's at the local auto parts store for $1.63 each. Some people use the next hotter plug (e.g. BPR6ES)"
This is what I found after searching the other...
What's happening to the Sony marine speakers? What are you using to drive them? I'm running Polk Momo separates and love them. They're not "marine" speakers but they have an aluminum basket, minimal plastic covers, rubberized cone, etc. 6yrs now and no rust and excellent sound. Both of my...
Agreed, Natural fit if you were doing cam, heads with higher spring pressure, etc. Otherwise, unless you had to replace one for some reason, I'd leave them alone.
I'd start with plugs. I've noticed my Kohler is really fussy about plugs and goes through them fairly quickly. I've had similar symptoms (in terms of the engine's performance, not the water issue) and fixed it with plugs. Also, check your gap, I've found the plugs that go in the Kohler can...
