My 280 Sundancer is currently on a 10,000 lb. lift in Cape Coral, FL. Is there a place in SW Florida (Ft. Myers area) to either rent a trailer when needed to get my boat on solid ground so I can do the periodic maintenance ... or to swap with someone that normally keeps their boat of that size...

As far as I know it has (I'm not the original owner). It's been stored out of the water on a lift - but operated in salt water for at least the past 10 years.

Does anyone have experience with converting their 4.3 liter Mercruiser engines to a 'closed cooling system' (like a kit from Performance Product Technologies)? The 280 Sundancer we purchased a few months ago has two of these engines, and I'm concerned about their long-term viability using salt...

We're in Cape Coral. We moved down full time about 10-years ago, but are just getting going with the boating. I'd love to hear any suggestions on good places to stop ... and hopefully over the next year or so, we'd like to start doing some weekend long trips. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We had SeaDek installed about 18 months ago and a portion of the swim platform is starting to come loose at one of the edges. What adhesive should or shouldn't be used to stick it back down? Thanks!
