Have any of you guys had to have your valves adjusted on you Kohler 5ecd? Last year my generator stopped working and my mechanic determined that one of the cylinders wasn't getting compression so he adjusted the valve and she started right up and ran great until last weekend. Now I am having...
Ok, rubber mallet did the trick. Came off like a champ. This time I had difficulty getting it back on. After bending the flanges slightly with pliers it slipped back on.
I took the one off the port engine today to replace the iac muffler. It was a real bi$&@ to remove. I ended up having to take a hammer and knock it off. Is there an easier way? Thanks, Tommy
The IAC on my Merc 8.1 burned up and melted the plug on the wiring harness. Is it possible to splice a new plug on or does the entire wiring harness have to be replaced? Where can I find a new plug?
Thanks,
Tommy
Don't listen to Glenn Beck. He is an alarmist. He makes his money scaring people. Democracy in the Middle East is a good thing. Remember when the Berlin wall fell? Well this is the same thing different region. The dictators are falling and the people are taking control. These are people...
I feel your pain brother. I had to replace mine this summer. My boat is an 07 so we got three years out of the pump. How old was yours? Does anyone know if there are better pumps out there that are more durable?
We skinny dip all the time on Lake Lanier. Never around people who might be offended and definitely not around children. Who wants to wear a wet swimsuit all day? I agree with the comments about Americans being way to uptight about nudity. The first cruise I ever took was on the SS Norway from...
I had a similar problem with my settee. I pulled it out and noticed that it wasn't sitting in the track so it was sliding around on the carpet. Pull it all the way out and put it back in so that it is riding on the track. If you do that it will not move when you are sitting on it.
Lake Lanier is awesome. Lot's of friendly people up there. We are currently at Aqualand Marina and hate it. They don't allow their slip holders to wash their boats! OK who is going to keep a $200,000 boat in a $4,000/yr slip at a marina where you can't wash it? It's the most rediculous thing...
