Friend of mine is going thru this on his 1984 340EC. Had to make a template and bring to a glass fabricator. It has to be tinted, tempered and have 3 holes drilled in it. Cost is going to be about $125 with him doing the install.

Flat glass can be cut and tempered by a competent local shop.

Curved tempered glass would have to be a used piece or new from the manufacturer.
