We were out yesterday and started getting intermittent alarms on my Sea Ray Systems Monitor. This is on a 2003 360DA and while the alarm buzzer works but the LCD display shows no readout. I have Vessel View tied into my MFDs and got no alarms there. I thought it might be a bilge pump, but the bilge was dry. The alarm first started when I was running at 3200 rpm, but it just beeped for a second and then cleared. After we stopped and anchored for dinner, when we went to restart the alarm started again at idol while retrieving the anchor, but stopped once we got underway. Again no alarms on Vessel View. My fuel was down to about 25 gal per tank, but I don't think the Systems Monitor even looks at that. I am going to move troubleshooting the System Monitor display up on my to do list, but am looking for anyone's suggestions on what else the alarm might have been.

I did troubleshooting on the Systems MOnitor Display today with no luck. Things tried,
- Tested power and ground to the unit
- Reterminated COAX
- Ran test coax cable from sending unit in engine compartment to display
- Held reset button for 10 seconds
- removed COAX and held reset button for 10 seconds.

None resolved my problem. No words on the display but the buzzer sounds and the backlight works so I think I have a dead DDU.

What I really need to know is do I need this other than for bilge pump alarms since I have vessel view and can see all the engine alarms there.
