I just bought a 90 Laguna 23 cc with twin 135s and was wondering how slow u can troll with a single engine and if anyone has any ideas about how to get the boat to troll 1.5 mph. Any advice is appreciated thanks.

i dont think you could get it that low on one engine unless your heading into the tide/wind on one.

Thanks I've ran into some other issues any ways haven't been able to get it in the water yet

You won't be able to get that slow on it's own. You would need either a drogue / sea anchor or a trolling plate.

This is the Davis version. There are others.

Well the wiring was cut behind the dash the starboard engine has no spark on cylinders 2 and 5 the oil tanks have water in them pretty sure and all the pumps but the main bridge pump needs replaced and I'm pretty sure the main tank needs flushed but other than that its pretty good lol oh and I need props someone took them.

I have a 1994 Black Max 135. I'd check the plug wires for damage, I know I have to be cautious lowering the cowl to make sure the cowl retaining locks don't catch on the plug wires. I've also have had problems with my voltage regulators, and quite a few wire connections under the cowl needed new connectors and ends.

Today I tested it went to inspect the stator and flywheel and found that the magnets were stuck to the stator they came in glued.

I dont know if this is a good place to post this but I'm at wits end with the 135 black max I cant get spark on cylinders 2 and 5 checked the trigger put a new flywheel on old 1 magnets came unglued replaced the switch boxes. Dont know what to do any help will be appreciated.

Use trolling bags (NOT drift bags or sea anchor...they won't hold up). Trolling bags are made to withstand the forces of trolling. Two of the makers that I know are "Big Papa Sportfishing" or "Amish Outfitters". Their bags are made for that purpose. Call them and they can assist in sizing. I used a set on my 300DA when I needed to get to lake trout speeds on the Great Lakes. They're easy to deploy and use and very effective. It's the best solution for what you want to accomplish vs trolling plates. The bag in the photo is from Big Papa Sportfishing.

I had to replace a coil pack on one of my 135s. It was the source of no spark on mine. Also, the problem I had trolling on one engine was the way my charging system was set up. Read “was”.

So found dry rot in the stringer on the back next to the transom.
