I have a 1999 310 Sundancer with the factory Clarion Stereo unit. All four of the speakers out in the cockpit area are blown out. I was wondering what would be a direct replacement fit that sounds good. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I used the JL's in my previous boat - 340 Sundancer. Quick swap and good fit. Sounded great!

Does the stock Clarion system have enough wattage to power them? The old blown speakers are 100W. Not sure if I have an amp or not. Don't know where it would be located on my 310.

Also did they not need the spacer rings some guys are talking about, not sure if the radar arch on a 340 is the same depth as a 310?

I didn't need spacer rings. I simply pulled the old ones and measured them.

I replaced my old Clarion, amp & speakers (after it was all stolen) with Clarion again. I bought their top-line speakers, amp & head unit. The quality of sound is like night and day from the old crap. I love cranking my "classic rock" at very loud volumes, anyway, it was all plug and play.

I didn't think about measuring the depth of them when I had one out last weekend. Guess I'll wait another week till I can get down there.

Thanks!

On my 380 arch, I needed spacers for the JL audio speakers, the handle for the walkway was just barely in the way.... my 2 friends that have the same boat, didn’t need them....
