BLM should die a slow painfull death

I don't buy it. Regardless of what you think of the BLM movement, spraying graffiti on Graceland would be a self defeating behavior that would only serve to bring negative attention from all sides ..including me. And so why would they do that? I think the much more likely story here is that someone did this to draw negative attention and make them look bad. And look ..it worked.
Ya, and it must of been the same people that did all that stuff in Seattle. Maybe you didn't hear about that, they spray painted buildings there ya know. There was even some BLM imposters demanding the white folks give them back their stuff. How dare they!!

From the BLM website "What we believe". How do these beliefs help black lives? Maybe MiLoLL can answer.
Collective freedom = Marxism

Black Lives Matter began as a call to action in response to state-sanctioned violence and anti-Black racism. Our intention from the very beginning was to connect Black people from all over the world who have a shared desire for justice to act together in their communities. The impetus for that commitment was, and still is, the rampant and deliberate violence inflicted on us by the state.

Enraged by the death of Trayvon Martin and the subsequent acquittal of his killer, George Zimmerman, and inspired by the 31-day takeover of the Florida State Capitol by POWER U and the Dream Defenders, we took to the streets. A year later, we set out together on the Black Lives Matter Freedom Ride to Ferguson, in search of justice for Mike Brown and all of those who have been torn apart by state-sanctioned violence and anti-Black racism. Forever changed, we returned home and began building the infrastructure for the Black Lives Matter Global Network, which, even in its infancy, has become a political home for many.

Ferguson helped to catalyze a movement to which we’ve all helped give life. Organizers who call this network home have ousted anti-Black politicians, won critical legislation to benefit Black lives, and changed the terms of the debate on Blackness around the world. Through movement and relationship building, we have also helped catalyze other movements and shifted culture with an eye toward the dangerous impacts of anti-Blackness.

These are the results of our collective efforts.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network is as powerful as it is because of our membership, our partners, our supporters, our staff, and you. Our continued commitment to liberation for all Black people means we are continuing the work of our ancestors and fighting for our collective freedom because it is our duty.

Every day, we recommit to healing ourselves and each other, and to co-creating alongside comrades, allies, and family a culture where each person feels seen, heard, and supported.

We acknowledge, respect, and celebrate differences and commonalities.

We work vigorously for freedom and justice for Black people and, by extension, all people.

We intentionally build and nurture a beloved community that is bonded together through a beautiful struggle that is restorative, not depleting.

We are unapologetically Black in our positioning. In affirming that Black Lives Matter, we need not qualify our position. To love and desire freedom and justice for ourselves is a prerequisite for wanting the same for others.

We see ourselves as part of the global Black family, and we are aware of the different ways we are impacted or privileged as Black people who exist in different parts of the world.

We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location.

We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.

We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege (I guess that is males attracted to females and visa-versa) and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.

We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.

We practice empathy. We engage comrades with the intent to learn about and connect with their contexts.

We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work.

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure ( so, no Mom and Dad - isn't that a black culture issue that is trying to be addressed?)requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).

We cultivate an intergenerational and communal network free from ageism. We believe that all people, regardless of age, show up with the capacity to lead and learn.

We embody and practice justice, liberation, and peace in our engagements with one another.
How come they got all that emphasis on queers, trannys, especially trans women?...and this 'freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking'. I noticed they mention 'mothers' and 'mothering' but no mention of 'fathers'.

Why ain't they told the bros around Chicago about these things....supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another and we embody and practice justice, liberation, and peace in our engagements with one another.

I have no idea. I have a few neighbors that have the BLM sign in their yards and I know they have no idea about what they represent. Probably have never read their website. The three words make them feel good along with a good dose of virtue signaling to other neighbors. Amazing how the left can co-op words together to represent a cause, that has nothing to do with the words they co-oped. Like the Peoples Republic of China.

They do mention fathers Woody. They say 'nuclear family', which they want to eliminate.

Had a pretty big BLM incident here in Pittsburgh last weekend. FBI is investigating now. They went up to a guy carrying a bicycle and hit him in the back of the head. When the bike carrier turned and gave a little shove back the protestor hit the bicyclist in the back of the head with a skateboard. They then went to an outdoor diner and terrorized an elderly couple then took a glass of beer from their table and drank it then went to a McDonalds and terrorized the employees and manager. People are getting pretty frustrated over it. I have been purposely avoiding areas that might be a magnet for them just to keep away from it. I don't want to end up in jail but I'm sure if I would have been there I would have been attacked by about 20-30 people and probably ended up in the hospital or worse.

Huh, what? I figure any progress toward that goal is accidentally coincedental being that 75-80% of black families are single parent anyway. Lots of bros don't understand being a baby daddy isn't the same as being the babbys father.

Good Evening Everyone - i will make one general retort to why I even responded to the OP's comments, and in response to the comments from others. It is not because I condone lawlessness, nor vandalism. Rather, its because frankly I've had my fill of people contaminating this site with all manner of nonsense and drivel that doesn't belong here. Further, i take umbrage to the OP classifying Democrats as animals and calling for culling and neutralizing people which I interpret to mean the OP supports as murdering or disposing of in some manner people he finds distasteful. I find those comments to be base and ugly, and summarily reject those beliefs.

Here is what I've seen in response: quite a bit of hatred peppered with some name calling, a calling for extermination of US citizens without trial and conviction, equating BLM protesters to the KKK, a proven murder organization, and a comment that the KKK isnt so bad. What I don't see in any of the comments are any statements condemning murders of innocent black people. Quite the contrary. Further, i don't recall seeing any past postings by anyone here condemning white supremacist murderers and calling for "culling", or any other form of removal of those types of people and organizations. I also don't recall any support for peaceful protests for justice such as those conducted by people like Colin Kaepernick. Prove me wrong and I will gladly stand corrected.
You may play coy, act indignant, and throw around your outrage. You may even heap on more name calling and insults. But, you are no more entitled to your outrage over my comments than I by yours. Further you may not claim that you are any more patriotic than I am, in particular when you are urging actions in direct conflict of the Constitution, which you purport to revere.

So, while my initial comment was merely intended to provoke similar feelings in the OP that his comments caused in me, perhaps that comment was too close to home for many of you.

He never classified Democrats as animals. Try reading it again, without wearing your outrage goggles for once.

I read specifically "Democratic animals..." not sure what you read or how I misinterpreted. Enlighten me.

You're really going to play this game?

Simple, there are People (Democrats). In that group you have people who are bad (Animals). Couldn't be any clearer. You misinterpreted based on your own biases. Try it a third time, and remove the F'n glasses for once!

When you say innocent black people. If you are referring to the likes of George Floyd and Jacob Blake I would hardly say innocent. They were criminals committing crimes. They put themselves in a situation where law enforcement had to use deadly force against them.

Maybe english isn't your first language.

When I say innocent I mean they they weren't given their day in court, rather the police on the street played jury, judge and executioner, deciding the ultimate penalty was death for whatever the alleged crime was. You might recall our justice system is based on the premise that you're innocent until proven guilty, not shoot first and ask questions later. You see it as the only choice the police had was deadly force, that was the choice they made. They didn't have to make that choice, as they often don't make that choice when dealing with white people.

You obviously never fought a speeding ticket in court.... your post about white people is completely wrong.

The system isn’t perfect.....but don’t break the law and you don’t have to learn that....plain and simple.

Who wants to tell him that more whites are shot and killed by police than black people each year, despite having a fraction of the police interactions.
