Fortunately I don't get that rag. But I can all but guarantee that their "analysis" skewed by a hatred of Trump.

For example, this little gem (quoted in a guardian article): “Ivanka Trump, while working as an employee of the Trump Organization, appears to have received ‘consulting fees’ that also helped reduce the family’s tax bill.” They are too stupid to realize that if she did in fact receive "consulting fees" that it would be taxable as income to her on her personal returns.

The whole thing, which is conveniently anonymous, is just a bunch of drivel. Time for the NYT to put up or shut up -- publish the docs.

You do realize the consulting fees they are talking about were illegally paid.

The point is paying consulting fees while deductible to the payor, is taxable to the payee. The taxation doesn't just "disappear." So the question is so what if he paid consulting fees?
