Well this is embarrassing but not surprised.

Sorry Charlie, you'll need to point me to it. What evidence do you have that it was illegal?
What’s amazing about this Nothing Burger is that in the NYT piece, there’s nothing about payments to Russian Oligarchs, no secret hush money payments to Cohen and Stormy, and it also proves that he “is” and “has been” under audit.....

meanwhile, where’s Hunter?

Harris / Biden 2020

Notice they didn't say anything about the taxes he paid in the remaining 3 years. Wonder why.
....because like the stupid Rachael Madcow piece where MSNBC illegally obtained personal tax records of a private citizen and the illegally reported it, demonstrated that Trump paid more in taxes than Bernie, Madcow and Biden combined. That reporting fell flat.......

Well if you can't read a simple article that is an easy search on the internet then we will leave you in the dark as usual Charlie.

The point is paying consulting fees while deductible to the payor, is taxable to the payee. The taxation doesn't just "disappear." So the question is so what if he paid consulting fees?
Read the information the money came from sourse that Trump is prohibited by law from collecting the money from.

Fortunately I don't get that rag. But I can all but guarantee that their "analysis" skewed by a hatred of Trump.

For example, this little gem (quoted in a guardian article): “Ivanka Trump, while working as an employee of the Trump Organization, appears to have received ‘consulting fees’ that also helped reduce the family’s tax bill.” They are too stupid to realize that if she did in fact receive "consulting fees" that it would be taxable as income to her on her personal returns.

The whole thing, which is conveniently anonymous, is just a bunch of drivel. Time for the NYT to put up or shut up -- publish the docs.
The article is merely reporting on what is in the President's tax returns so a great deal of it is just presenting numbers. It does say today's release was the first of many. The article highlighted Ivanka Trump's consulting fees because the reporters were able to match a consulting fee deducted by the President to a payment Ms. Trump disclosed in a separate, publicly available financial statement. There is quite a bit of discussion as to why the consulting fees may be problematic, it's not quite as simple as you suppose. BTW, there are several more millions of dollars of suspicious consulting fees not traced to recipients as yet, so perhaps more to follow on this.
I agree that any mystery needs to be cleared up. The Times probably won't publish the actual returns, but the President certainly should.

The article is of such public importance they hide it behind a paywall. I don't pay for fiction.

Lol lots of sources for the article that are free but your posts does bring up the question what are you paying for on the internet. Lol :D

Well this is embarrassing.

From 2005 to 2007, this latest Times scoop reveals, he did finally pay about seventy million dollars to the Internal Revenue Service. But then, in 2010, he demanded a full refund for those tax payments. And the I.R.S. acceded to his request: it paid him $72.9 million, including interest. This 2010 refund seems to be at the center of an auditing dispute between Trump and the tax authorities that has dragged on for almost a decade. It also appears to be the money that Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal lawyer, was referring to in his 2019 testimony to Congress, when he recalled Trump showing him a huge check from the U.S. Treasury and remarked that Trump “could not believe how stupid the government was for giving someone like him that much money back.”

Rut rho, looks like it was Obama's fault. This seems to be a pretty good breakdown of the taxes at issue.

Biden 1 Trump 0

Biden did better than I thought he would. He looked into the camera and talked directly to the people.
Trump could not look into the eyes of the people.

Trump is losing it on the ballots.

After all the angst about VP Biden taking drugs, President Trump clearly forgot to take his Prozac, which needed to be the size of a golf ball.

Trump got Biden to basically disavow Bernie and his clan. Biden will need to clean that up to have a chance.
Trump totally lost control. Microphone mute buttons are coming. Biden made it clear he is the Democrat party leader and he speaks for the party. The debate is not directed at people that support Trump or Biden it's directed at the undecided. Trump clearly lost control and created huge problems for himself. Funny he didn't know who the Proud Boys are but he said they have some fine people. He also failed to denounce any white supremest groups but instead told them to "stand down but stand by". If Trump fares as well as he did in the first debate there won't be a 3rd debate Biden won't need the 3rd debate Trump will be done.

i,m afraid usa is in a very serious situation without many options ...

I imagine we will see a similar speech to those in the clip any time now, but the damage has likely already been done. The President would better serve himself if he would learn to instantly say much the same as is in the clip whenever asked.
I don’t think so... normal americans don’t believe fake news or acknowledge attempts to tear down Trump. How insane to think Trump supports White supremacy ... geez think about how ridiculous that is.... Dems spewing this crap is unbelievable
Yet Biden gets a pass on Antifa
