...on a 1989 Sea Ray 440 Aft Cabin? I went to replace mine and found none in the light fixture! Looks like 2 bulbs, front and back, maybe festoon type?

Thanks,
Allan

Even when new, those festoon bulbs aren’t very bright. I’d consider a new fixture designed for LED lights, in the interest of safety.

Marinebeam is the one that makes them for my boat. They are much brighter than the old Festoon. They are specifically specified for the fixture on my boat. My buddy with a 450 Express has the same bulbs from Marine Beam.

It’s important to make sure they are designed for the purpose. Some LEDs are directional, and thus may not be visible from some angles as required by the coast guard.

Any specs on dimensions or lumen output for the marine beam festoon?

Found some bulb info in an obscure SeaRay site. The anchor lights (2) appear to be “Perko Fig. 71” bulbs, a 31mm festoon type. And yes, making sure the replacements are bright enough for USCG Regis.
