Almost embarrassed to ask but here it goes. I've looked at the manual and for the life of me I can't locate the dumb sea strainer location. Going to the boat in a while and I got a high pressure warning in the front berth and the galley wasn't cooling. Guessing I need to find the sea strainer and see if it needs cleaning.

So, where is it?

Not sure what boat you have but my assumptions are: twin engines, generator, and at last one AC system. Look in the bilge for the four , corresponding sea cocks. Trace trace out the lines. They will lead you directly to the strainer

Typically, that strainer and seacock is right next to the AC raw water pump.

I think on a lot of Sundancers the AC water pump is low on the bulkhead in the bilge. It’s seacock and strainer will be likely be close so should be able to follow the hose from the pump.

On the 390 Sundancer it is in the engine bay center in the bilge between the two main stringers just aft of the forward bulkhead. You will see the water lines going into the A/C water pump attached to the bulkhead below the 12v electrical switch panel. Goes without saying, but make sure you close the seacock before opening the sea strainer.

May as well pull the strainers for your engines and generator while you're at it since you may have sucked seaweed into all of them.

Should have updated... You're exactly right on the location. And, yep cleaned all. All good in the neighborhood now....
