i purchased a northstar gateway single engine smartcraft navbus last year and never installed it. how do i know what model it is?

i have no idea what nav setup was installed in my boat before the dealer replaced...
my boat is at the shop having the bottom acid washed.
stop by my slip and notice my slip neighbor has taken my ropes to secure his/her boat.
needless to say, i took my ropes back.

my anchor rope always seems to ball-up and get stuck in the windlass when trying to set anchor.
my only thought is to hit the deepest part of the lake (~140') and let most of the line out. thought this might let it unwind a little.

my current setup is 20' of chain then rope. the combo makes me a little nervous to say the least.
is there any reason why i can't run 150~200' of chain?
