Help needed ... We're on an extended boat trip ... Our dinghy is in excellent condition however we keep getting a large amount of water in-between the double floor.
There's a screw in drain plug in-between the floors ... it's doesn't appear to be leaking in from there. On the exterior...
Can anyone tell us the location of the Water Pressure Sensor on the engine?
Got Smartcraft alarm "BLK PSI CKT HI". From what we've read online it appears it might be a faulty pressure sensor.
Just an FYI for anyone looking for just the spring for the Lofrans Project 1000. I purchased one online from Yacht Supply Depot for $18.50. The shipping at $13.25 was almost as expensive as the part :wow:.

Thanks so much Korkie.
Took the cover off EIM, no breakers were popped. Put the starboard breaker into the spot for the port wiper and it stopped working. Problem solved! Cost $14.
The knowledge of people on this site is so valuable. I wish I would have posted this issue prior to us...
Help needed ... No power going to starboard wiper motor on 2005 340 Sundancer.
We finally tackled the inoperable windshield wiper. We procrastinated because it involved removing lights and the headliner. We disconnected the wiper motor, had it tested and it works. Checked power with a...
Our boat came with the KVH M3 and Bell satellite receiver. It worked great but we really didn't use it enough to justify keeping it. We removed it a couple weeks ago and installed a Garmin radar unit. It's now sitting in the spare bedroom collecting dust.
WELLSWA, do you know if your local source stocks springs for the Lofrans Project 1000 windlass? IMTRA only sells in a 'pressure finger' kit ... to the tune of $113.
We just purchased two 10' kayaks. Does anyone know of an effective storage solution/system for storing on the bow area? We have a dinghy on the swim platform so cannot store kayaks there.
Steve will be retiring soon and we'll be spending July and August in the North Channel in Canada, on the hook most days. Unfortunately, I can't retire so I'll have to work on the boat for part of the trip. I'm on my computer for 7 hours a day and my battery only holds a charge for 3 hours...
This is our 5th season with our 340 and we inspect the anodes at the start of each season. Last weekend when we checked there is still about 3/4 left. This got us thinking ... at what point should we be replacing them? Doesn't make sense to replace them when there's still so much left. We...
Ours is installed in the breaker panel. It works perfectly from anywhere on the boat. We haven't tried from the dock ... but now I'm going to test it out to see how far away it works
How did you make out with the wiper motor replacement?
We pulled the speaker cover off and removed the speaker. We couldn't see the wiper motor.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Kim
What format are the online charts in? Do they have dated comments about the ports and anchorages? We should cross paths at some point. Give us a shout if you see us. (Black Canvas 400DB "Season Ticket III")
The GLCC provides harbor reports not charts. For example:
From Covered Portage...
This will be our first trip to the North Channel from June 26th returning home around July 20th. We're planning on stops in Sarnia, Kincardin, then to Killarney. We're going as far west as Gore Bay then back the Canadian way as we'll be picking up and dropping off family and friends in Little...
Thanks, I think it will be a fabulous trip. We're going to the North Channel (Ontario, Canada) for three weeks. I'll feel relieved once we have the davit situation figured out.
