Had both Q-Jets rebult by well known rebuilder, reinstalled & made the proper adjustments, when restatriing the engines after a week both engines require 10 to 15 sec. of cranking, is this normal, after the engines warm up to temp, they restart all day long !
Some say it's the fuel evaporating...
Had a well known carb rebuilder service both my carbs, had problens with both carbs one leaked fuel around the fuel filter inlet the other leaked fuel into the prymairy causing the engine to flood, sent both back they did pay the freight, the fuel leak was repaired, the other carb still leaked...

Time to Replace the props 20 X 25, on my 1989 390 express, 454 ci. 330 hp, lot's of talk about nibril?? we boat on inland rivers, there a good chance of damaging a prop, also whey backing up and general operation the props don't bite in good
any opinion or experience, lot's of 390 out there...

1989 390 express 800 hours, 454 gas with hurth trans, added (stabil) to fuel system, ran under power for one hour noticed both trans started making a rumble noise at lower rpm, more so on the starbord side ????? cutlass bearings are tight, anyone know what could cause this, noise sems to quit...
