I use both the hard wired "safe t alert" and also the one I bought at Home Depot. They were both going off. I replaced the batteries we'll see what happens. I dont have a low battery alarm.
Jerrys, didnt mean to offend you...
Thanks for all of your input. My detector is only a year old. The batteries did get low on water this winter. Im replacing the batteries in the morning.
Thanks again
I have a CO alarm that will go off at the dock for no reason, usually around 0400:smt013! Nothing is running on or around me. The latest time was last night and when I docked the boat I opened the hatches for at least 4 hours. Any thoughts? I replaced the alarm last year and it does not go...
I'm looking to save fuel and use the boat at hull speed with one engine. Both engines have a power steering pump hooked up but only one is in use. Can I plug them both in or use a valve to switch back and forth. The goal is to idle out on the stbd engine with power steering and idle back on...
I have the boat your looking at and love it. I use it all year round and enjoy it. It's a boat, your going to have problems... Does it have the original engines? I'd check the hours on them, if your around 1200 hours your looking at a replacement. It's a very comfortable boat for 2 people...
Thanks for all the input!! When I disconnected the oil psi sensor the alarm would not sound when I turned the key.? Is this normal or is this showing that is the problem? I have wiggled as many wires as I can find and still the problem.
"Could it be an alarm from something else? Depthfinder? High water bilge alarm?"
--The bilge alarm is different and the depth sounder is on my gps. I can't pull the oil sensor as it shuts the whole alarm down. It won't sound with the key with the wire pulled, it must break the circuit.
I'd...
The alarm sounds when I turn the keys on before the engines start. By disconnecting the jug the alarm still sounded (while on plane as usual, not because the jug was disconnected.) I did exactly as you said, pulled one sensor at a time and the alarm is still sounding at random. I'm at a loss...
According to Sea Ray " seawater pressure is to low" is not one of the alarms equipped on the motor. I don't have transmissions so that's out. Any other ideas?
