My wife and I were discussing the possibility of selling our 1999 370 EC. It has 480 hp Cummins 6.7 QSCs. They are much quieter and cleaner than the Cats. They are rated at 3300 rpm with a 3000 cruise. Fully loaded I can cruise at 30 knots though I usually run at 2600 rpms doing around 26 knots...

Hi My 370 is an outlier. We had gassers and cruised at 18 mph at 3400rpms and guzzled fuel. We switched to 480 HP 6.7 Cummins QSBs. I now cruise at 2600rpm at 30 mph, at 65 percent engine load at .96 mpg. 3000 rpms is Cummins recommended cruise speed. I can hit 40 mph wide open at 3385 rpms. I...
