On my 2018 280 SLX I had 3 of the 4 clips that hold the panel to the arch break off (see pic) and I need to replace them. First, anyone know where to get them? Second, anyone know how they come out (pull, twist, etc)?
I currently have a 2004 220SD and am considering buying a 2003 270SD because my growing family needs some extra room. I am going to look at the 270 tonight, but in doing some research I'm a bit confused. The Sea Ray spec sheet for the two boats say:
2004 220: Overall length with integrated...
Had a bad boating weekend last weekend. Hit a submerged floating log doing about 30 and had catastrophic outdrive failure. No one hurt and zero fiberglass damage visible. Completely broke the top section of the drive away from the part that connects to the actual boat, cracked the cylinder...
I know many of you have done the same. My story:
I went down to the boat last weekend (we keep our 2004 Sundeck 220 on a lift at our personal dock) and the boat wouldn't start without giving it some gas. Strange, but not the end of the world. Then realized that it wouldn't idle at all. Had...
Zebra mussels have started to become more of a problem in my lake (Norris in TN). I'm keep my boat on a lift so it is not in the water, but they are starting to build up on my personal dock quite a bit. I have to imagine that over time this is going to add quite a bit of weight to the dock (we...

I don't know if that is the correct term or not, but I'm looking for a new rubber piece that covers the ignition switch where the key slides in. This is for a 2004 220 Sundeck. Anyone know where to get a replacement? Mine is cracked/split and looks bad. Thanks!
Some of you may have heard about the bad ice storms that hit Norris Lake (Tennessee) and damaged most of the marinas. My boat is in my personal dock at my house on a lift. I didn't realize until yesterday that we ended up with some damage as well. The boat and lift continued to float fine bit...
Just got a call from my boat mechanic. He was on the way out to my house to winterize the boat. I have him do it on my lift. Could I do it myself, yes, but doing it over water just adds one more wrinkle and I'm sure I'd drop a tool or two into the drink. Good timing since it is going to get...
I am replacing the steering wheel on a 2004 220 sundeck. I took the cap off removed the nut and washer but the wheel won't budge. What am I missing and how do I get this darn thing off? Thanks!
