    boating with dogs

Yup. My 110lb German Sheppard never seemed to damage the vinyl, but we always kept his nails ground. Now as far as the hair is concerned that was an issue sometimes. We would sweep a lot and do our best to vacuum up the carpet. I decided at one point to go with hardwood in the cabin and the...

Jesse goes anywhere we go on the boat with few exceptions. Give him some sun and free up the aft couch and he is a happy dog.

Are you leaking around the filler? Had that happen to me. The pressure will blow the cap up if not set perfectly in the hole and adjusted correctly with the center bolt. Usually takes me a couple tries to get it right. The fluid is ATF, I use Redline Synthetic. --Mike

My wife did the same thing. Easy fix and since I did it we have not had an issue and it looks good. I did all of the exposed edge in the cockpit. Use this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221429671296?item=221429671296&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OC:US:3160&vxp=mtr

LOL. Try removing the plastic part of the rod holder and slipping a tube through that to the deck. The only drilling would be 4 screws for the end of the tube and those would be under the gunnel on the deck. Easy to hide later if needed. I think reinforcing the gunnel would be time consuming and...

Don't think that will hold the weight. The ratcheting on the gunnel will break the glass there. I guess if you removed the rod holder and made it so the tube you are using went all the way to the deck and then slipped into a bracket, almost like a deck rail holder bracket, then you would have...

You could try sailboat dinghy davits. They are crane like and swing in when not in use. Our transoms are more than strong enough to handle the weight of the dinghy or a person in a hammock. Would make bringing the dinghy in easier as well.

Just the bulbs. Everything came from superbrightleds.com. I was able to match all of the interior and deck lights pretty easily. --Mike

Norcold DE-740BB which was the biggest I could fit under the cockpit seat. Its so big I had to bend the side tabs over a bit. I had to trim the sides of the under seat fiberglass as well, but we now have cold drinks and ice on deck. Well worth it. It's 12v DC and 110v AC so always on. Very low...

Shore Power holder / hanger / hooks?

Yes, of course, inner shell. Not sure I would want two screws sticking out on the side of the EC, lol. Pretty big gap actually between the outer and inner hull, at least an inch and a half, maybe a bit more. --Mike

I have yet to have an issue with it. It may be do to how much canvas you leave on, how you are vented or even where in the country you live. We always run with the full front canvas, but have the vent window or "U" Eisenglass open, but even when we don't I do not have an issue. That being said...

Shore Power holder / hanger / hooks?

Just delivered and installed! Pics as promised. This will easily hold all 50' of 30amp cable and make things a little neater. It even looks good and being all stainless, including the screws, should hold up well. --Mike

The stereo amp is hidden behind the wall next to the stereo. You need to remove the stereo and the backpanel that holds it in place. Reach around to the left side and you will feel the amp screwed into the back of the wall. I haven't changed out the V-berth port holes and I do not think that is...

Shore Power holder / hanger / hooks?

True. I can rig a mini bungie loop like you see on some rail line wraps for sail boats. I just ordered it and I will post after its installed. Great idea you had with the stainless hose reels. Thanks!

Should be, I have a single 30amp / 50 feet. What are they 1/2"? 3/4"? If that holder carries 75ft of 3/4 like its says I should be good. What do you think? --Mike

Shore Power holder / hanger / hooks?

That may work, not a bad idea to look at. I was thinking maybe looking for one made out of starboard or stainless, something already for boats but repurposed. Taylor line straps might work. They are white and have the stainless twist locks on them I just don't know if they would be large enough...
