Thanks Dennis, going to the boat after work to try the different tests you suggested. Boat is going in on Saturday so hopefully i can figure it today and fix tomorrow.
I'm having a similar issue with my 2000 Sundancer 240. I noticed the carpet in the lowest part of the cabin being wet toward the end of last season. I dried the carpet and it remained dry while shrink wrapped for the winter. Now with the canvas back up but with the boat still out of the water i...
I paid around $260 for the switch pad and more then that for the EIM. I ordered from a Sea Ray dealer and I'm sure they marked up both parts substantially. Hopefully all you need is the pad. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
Did you get both parts for $245? I replaced the keypad aka "Peanut" in my 2000 Sundancer only to find out that the Elecontronic Interface Module was the real culprit. I think the only thing that had been wrong with the keypad was that the back lighting was shot. At least with both parts new they...
I'm having the same problem. I thought it was the control switch panel but replacing that didn't fix the problem. I now noticed that a section of the fuse panel board is burnt. I also found a burnt fuse below the main fuse panel but replacing that fuse didn't help either. How did you determine...
Had my first starting issue while fishing yesterday. Turning the key only produced a clinking sound at the solenoid behind the carburetor, I believe I now understand that to be the "slave" solenoid. I was able to jump out the slave solenoid and get the engine running so I could get back to my...
I have a small leak around my hatch as well. How were you planning to fix your leak? I was going to try a bead of silicone between the hatch flange and the deck. Didn't wan't to take the hatch apart unless i had too.
When I bought the boat I knew the horn wasn't working. I bought the sea ray replacement horn as the original is no longer made. After I got the new one installed I turned on the batteries and the horn started going off. I tried pressing the horn button to see if it would turn off but it would...
I presume the control panel that has the horn button has to be disconnected from the back and pull out from the dash panel. I felt what I thought were three bolts but not positive that's how it comes out.
I was thinking about doing the "shadow" style lettering especially after seeing what you guys have but decided to stay simple and went with the high performance black. I picked it up today and will post a picture when it's on. Looking forward to launching on Sunday morning but i think i'll have...
I went on Boat US and was tooling around with their vinyl lettering design program but would prefer to paint the name on. I'm having a stencil made up.
Thanks for the welcome!
