    CSR Northeast Flotilla 2016

I think we need to abandon meeting all of you at SI. Wife is not up for another trip this late in the pregnancy. She was a good sport for our trip to Block Island earlier this month, but that was pushing it a little. Enjoy and see you next year.

The cockpit is coming out great, I love the white color scheme. It's funny how other peoples progress motivates. Now I'm thinking of pulling all the wood trim and refinishing it, maybe even make carbon fiber panels for the gauges. The winter may not be long enough. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the tip on the seals, have the seal for the windshield to replace as well and I just rebed both side windows. I have delrin material left over from a Melges 24 project (Yes a Sailboat), if I can't find the SS I'll see if a shop can make some up. I wish I could spend more time on...

I have found a lot out regarding the parts to change the door rollers. Can anyone explain how to get the door off? I have not read that yet, other than taking the trim off. I looked at it yesterday and I think I need to remove the top wood trim and then maybe there will be screws for the top...

Congrats on the purchase, it's a great boat. Napatree is at Watch Hill RI, Nice Beach and quiet anchorage. The guy I saw last year had a vest on, thought it may have been you. The vent is on the top of the tank, it's a 90 elbow fitted to the tank. I have checked the vent hose and the fitting...

Thanks Saverio. I have pulled the stairs and the line many times but never measured it. I went for the drive last night and worked on it. It seems the tank vents fine until it is full then the the air stops venting and the water doesn't enter the vent hose. Btw I think we may have crossed...

    Official 390 E.C. Thread

I was wondering if anyone knew what the diameter and length of the water tank vent hose is? I'm having an issue while I fill the water tank. The tank doesn't seem to vent properly, the tank was replaced and bulges when being filled. When full it doesn't discharge through the vent hole as it...

Water Tank Vent - Is there a valve?

Thanks for the advice. I have to get back to the boat, its a good hour away, and see if the tank fitting is clogged. That is why I was wonding if there was a valve there? That is a good idea about bracing and adding a hatch. I need to redo the floor and carpet anyways.

Water Tank Vent - Is there a valve?

Yes there is a hole and it's open. The water used to flow out the vent after the new tank was installed. The system worked fine until the middle of this season. That is why I was thinking the vent was blocked. But that doesn't seem to be the reason. I didn't think to look at the fitting at the...

Water Tank Vent - Is there a valve?

I'm pretty sure the vent is clear. Water used to pour out early in the season but not now. I can blow air through it and I can attach a vacuum and suck air in. That is why I think the issue is at the tank. I plan to replace the vent hose in the spring for.good measure.

Water Tank Vent - Is there a valve?

When I fill the tank the tank doesn't seem to vent? The tank was replaced two years ago with a plastic one. When I fill the tank it expands like a bubble. I removed the vent hose from the tank and air will pass through to the hull fitting. I was wondering is there a valve on the tank fitting...

    How to Re-bed Windows

I know this has been addressed but I cannot find any detailed description on what it takes to re-bed the long windows on a 390 EC. I know I pull the rubber that hides the screws and take out the screws. Does that whole window come out as one piece? Is there an issue with the aluminium buckling...

    Davis Park or Watch Hill

Watch hill does have a hotel, the ocean house. Its a bit pricy but very nice. If you can get to misquamicut from watch hill, there are many more options. Also consider staying in Stonington harbor, there may be a few smalll inns there and its a cute town to walk around.
