Hello all
My 2009 350 dancer (2010 370) did not come with foot rests for the helm or the companion seats. Has anyone installed these? Any advice? Also, any idea where I can purchase the foot rests and hardware?
TY
Has anyone heard of riser/elbow internal welds failing on 8.1s leading to water leaking into heads and damaging valves? I’ve heard this story several times and am trying to find out if there is an issue with mercruiser OEM risers? I’m looking at replacing manis and risers but don’t want to...

So yesterday I’m down at the dock watching TV and I notice the digital channels had poor reception.Today I go up to the antenna mounted on the hardtop, remove it by loosening the set screw, remove the antenna cable, (looked crappy) and install a new type f connector and remount the...

I have the Atwood ehm6-sm hot water heater. On the thermal cut off switch there is a little button to “reset” the switch. I have reset it several times before as it usually trips if you turn on the hot water heater prior to turning on the fresh water pump. At this point, it no longer...
hello all
Both dripless shaft seals began leaking. First the port, although the drip is minimal even under load. About 2 weeks ( and several trips) later, the stbd seal started leaking pretty good under load, enough to activate pumps after 30 minutes of running time. When motor is off the drip...
In my 2009 350/370, the inverter is located in the forward stbd hanging closet. Remove the screws for the forward panel inside the closet.
When I bought my boat the bed did not recline or move via the control. The dealer told me it was broken. I found the inverter, turned it on and it all worked
Thanks guys… got it loose today after a week of liquid wrench. Borrowed a pipe wrench that fit between rudder post and stringer, then a few slight taps with a hammer on the nut to loosen any corrosion. Then got my flat flange wrench on the nut and after popping a few blood vessels, it came...
Thank u Scott
Tried the pipe thing. My wrench kept slipping off the nut. Didn’t want to strip the nut. Need something that grabs better. Did t know if I should try channel locks? Better pipe wrench? Other suggestions?
Thx
Hello all
Does anyone have suggestions on the best tools to use to loosen the locking nut on the stbd rudder post? It’s really tight. My pipe wrenches that fit the nut are too long. I have a short flange wrench that I can get on the nut however the handle is to short to get any leverage on the...
As an update, I noticed a slight wobble in the pump pulley. Removed the pump and replaced and the squeak is gone. Also my at idle water pressure reduced from 3.5-4.0 to 2.1.
Thanks to all
Not just the transom door but any cockpit cabinet/storage doors that can interfere with the hatch when open will have the same effect. That said, I have an 09 350/370. The hatch relay fails quite often. My boat has a “ hatch switch” located below the helm that is direct wired and bypasses the relay.
