    Engine removal ?

Hello again, yes it is me, haha. So... I lucked out and found a 302 in good shape and went and picked it up the other day. Complete engine, fully put together. Here are my questions: 1. What do I need to unhook on the existing 302 in the boat in order to remove it with no hang ups? 2. While it...

    Still no luck...

Thank you for the replies. I have already sprayed PB Blaster in the holes and let it sit. Tried freeing it up with a leverage bar and it wont budge. What caused the engine to hydrolock? What am I looking at cost wise if I do the rebuild myself? I am mechanically savvy but have not dealt with the...

Hello all, Im back, the boat is coming along cosmetically and she is looking beautiful. The engine on the other hand is another story unfortunately. I have the outdrive pulled and that needs rebuilt, and I pulled the plugs on the engine and found that I can not hand crank the motor because it...

Yeah, mine is. 22ft. That is awesome, I am in the process of doing the restoration. Such a beautiful boat, I absolutely love the look of the 75 sRV 220. I am not sure where the fuel cell is. Is that the tank? I think it is under a wood step right before the entrance to the cabin. Not 100%...

    Battery not good enough?

Thank you for the useful information! I am in the process of getting my dual battery setup going. I am having a mechanic look at the boat and see if it can get started. On a positive note, I found the transom drain plug and an extra sitting in the drivers side built in cooler. :)

    Battery not good enough?

Hello all, its me again. :) So, when I bought my boat, it would just make a clicking noise and the negative cable wiggles a little bit when I try and start her up. I looked and noticed that the battery is just a little guy, looks like a motorcycle battery. Definitely not a marine battery...

1975 Sea Ray SRV 220 Cuddy (need general rundown)

Thank you! Couple questions... 1. On picture three, thats the Transom drain, do I need to have this plugged when the boats in the water? ( is that a stupid question?) is this also where you install the easy oil change hose drain kit? 2. The fresh water inlet has about a two to three foot hose...
