    NuTeak - 270DA

I have a 2 and 4 yr old, so being able to hose down the cockpit is key. For this reason I am trying to avoid any carpet-like material. Right now we have the carpet taken out and its so easy to clean and hose. But...that teak definitely has a sharp look. Thanks for sharing your experience. Sent...

    NuTeak - 270DA

Would love to hear some of your experiences with NuTeaking a 270 or similar sized vessel. Its a recent idea of mine, but would love to hear some positives and negatives from those who have already done so. If it happens, I would consider cabin, cockpit, and swim platform. Sent from my iPhone...

    Fishing from a SD

I have a 2000 DA. Inserted 2 rod holders in gunnels, plus a removable one on bow rail. We fish all the time. Perfect fish/pleasure cruiser. Best of both Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cockpit Seat Vinyl Question - See pics

Mine get the same thing. Spray Nine then 303. Shiny and good as new. Use a medium bristled brush to get into the grooves. They will sparkle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

2017 Season Picture and Video thread

Those Swim Platform Riding pics are horrendous. Although we might complain about little things, we are very thankful that our Coast Guard keeps our region under control. They are the good guys and have to put up with moronic behavior like this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Running bilge blowers?

Great point about NOT turning batteries off. I have removed that step from my routine because of it. Always good stuff everytime I visit CSR. Now...back to my shrimp. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Running bilge blowers?

When fueling...the batteries are off. Thus...the boat is turned off. Thus...no blowers when gassing up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Running bilge blowers?

My blowers are on 100% of the time, unless boat is off. When fueling, I also click all batteries off. Replacing blower, if need be, is easy. Peace of mind and family safety is priceless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What will sanitize bilge stink?

Nope...your comment just wasn't funny, Valyrie. Plenty of humor on this board, but dumb is dumb. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best Dinghy solution for a Sundancer 310 DA

I beach my Zodiac HP floor all the time. I use a little caution and common sense and it remains a tank. No problems at all. But...if living in S Florida and maximum sun exposure is expected, then I would go Hypalon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best Dinghy solution for a Sundancer 310 DA

For me its a french production Zodiac Aero (8ft 6in) with a yamaha 2.5 HP. If Zodiac, dont get a chinese one, as they have moved to glued seams starting this year, as I was told be Defender. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yamaha f2.5 O/B

Just a quick unpaid endorsement. I often see folks asking opinions about O/B for the dink. I recently purchased a Yamaha f2.5 and this little number is a tank, reliable, and sips gas. No complaints, starts every time, and is a light one-hand carry. So far, I would recommend it to anyone. My dink...

    98 Sundancer 270 w/400hrs or 2001 240 w/20hr on new engine..?

Ohhhhhhh......this is perfect. My neighbor dockmate bought a 240 two years ago. He loved it, but he just splashed...with his new-to-him 270 trade-in. Talk about perfect timing for this thread. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    98 Sundancer 270 w/400hrs or 2001 240 w/20hr on new engine..?

As far as boats go, and especially if you plan on having guests, taking trips, sleeping over, cooking, eating...etc. My opinion is go for the bigger and wider boat. Said nobody ever..."this boat has too much space for my friends and family to enjoy." The 240 is awesome...but will feel cramped...
