    DTS pros & cons

No idea. I suppose anything is possible but I'm pretty sure the DTS system is tied into the engine computer so I'm going to doubt it. Also, I couldn't see where the Diesel motors option (in the 280DA brochure) were equipped with DTS. You might try to contact a John Mosetti at Boats Unlimited...

    DTS pros & cons

As a follow-up, found my 280DA with DTS and I am really glad I waited for one so equipped. Super smooth shifts and throttle and NO worries with the dreaded IAC problem as DTS equipped motors don't have one (at least the 496's don't).

I did a lot of research and replaced the stock Lowrance LMS-520C (5" screen), with a Garmin 743XSV (7" screen). Very happy with it. Wanted to put in the 9" screen but would not have fit or looked good. CH]

Henry, according to the Sea Ray "prop chart" I saw a while back the stock props for my setup is: 14.25"X 22" CUP BR3 RH (#48-823663) & 15.75"X 22" CUP BR3 LH (#48-823664) I wanted to get some real world information (RPM/MPH/GPH) and prop numbers and/or pitch from fellow CSR'ers to help make...

Can I get the installed prop numbers from anyone who has a 2002 through 2009 280DA with the 496 engine/Bravo3 combination, please? Mine (bought boat used) are: Forward Prop: 48-823661 A6 20P; Aft Prop: 48-823662 A6 20P. I think I'm a wee bit under-propped but need to do a bit more research of...

ISO: Clarion iPod Connecting Cable (Clarion # CCA-670)

Yeah, that's not the correct one. Has to be Clarion # CCA-670, not CCAIPOD.

    DTS pros & cons

I sold my old boat last year and am still looking for my next boat. My question was about whether to seek a DTS model or not.

IMHO, like many things, because of different circumstances and situations you could get different answers that are correct. For example, with one motor and two batteries, I tried to use one battery going out and switched to the second battery coming back, so both got approximately the same...

Most of the major VHF manufacturers (Icom, Furuno and Raymarine) make what they call "black box" marine vhf radios, not to be confused with the brand name Black Box radios. Just do an online search.
