Sounds like the driver was confused about the 3 cylanders and the shift interupter. It isnt his boat afterall. I'm really hoping it gets resolved though becuase I want this boat!! Thanks for the info regarding the possible causes I will relay it.

I believe the engine stalled while going from forward into neutral. this happened twice. It did not stall otherwise. He is a very experienced boater, so I doubt he was shifting so extremely slow to be out of the norm. Plus the other engine didnt stall. I was told the IACs were done recently...

Yes, he let the engines warm up for a couple minutes before leaving the dock. They are fuel injected. Yes the engines seemed to operate normally otherwise. They ran smooth at cruising speed. It was only while in the harbor when they stalled. What are some possible causes of this?

I did do some searches on those sites. There seems to be a HUGE range of pricing. Saw one as high as $75k. And of course asking price is not selling price.
