French boat wash? I'm not sure how my boat would feel about that.

    410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread**

Looks good. It's interesting to see how different the head layout is between the 400/410. While you're in the anchor locker, fix up a way to hang your hose neatly (if you haven't already). I can't tell you how many times I've had my hose get stuck under just enough anchor chain to induce...

We've got a couple nice 480's in the area :)

    Springtime shine 2024

I've actually got one of the signs pre-Safe Harbor in my garage. Liberated it from a dumpster one rainy October day the year they were acquired....

Don't you fellers have any rack storage at your marina?

Thoughts on going from 7.4 MPI Gen VI to Carb Gen IV

Some older MPI motors have mechanical fuel pumps as well. It's the wild west out there.

    Springtime shine 2024

Yeah, like the others have said I'm generally holding the polisher at maybe a 15 degree angle, ish. It's hard to get any kind of bite if you're holding it flat. If you get a decent angle you won't need to apply pressure, the weight of the tool is enough to get it done. I put a bit of polish...

New powerboater: just bought a Sea Ray 280 with unknown maintenance: what do I need to check?

Could go either way! Is this a V-drive boat or I/O?

    Official 510 DA Owners Group

I jumped onto the T-Mobile bandwagon last year after you posted about your experience, @Blueone . My speeds rarely dip below 300mbps at my home. It's incredible compared to what I came from (Xfinity cable internet). I plan to get another subscription this year for my boat. Our marina WiFi...

    real estate in Florida

That link was a good read. For this northerner, I found the comment on insurance to be very interesting:

    Vitrifrigo refrigerator/freezer

I'd call 'em. I had a PCBA go bad in a 1 year old Isotherm. Customer service was great in helping me trouble shoot. Knock on wood...no problems since.

Almost as bad as the physical pain is knowing that some bird is going to $hit on it within minutes of being launched :)

I use Smoove products. I compounded the whole shot 3 seasons ago. So last season and this season I'm only using Bubble Gum on it (light polish w/polymer wax) and continue to be very pleased. I use Presta pads. White when compounding, green when polishing.

I'm still a couple weeks away from launching so I'm taking my time with the topside. I don't know why I always save the worst part for last. Waxing the hullsides is downight enjoyable compared to this crap. One/two more trips out and I'll be ready to hit the water.

1998 Sea Ray 400 Sundancer Fuel Valve (tank valve selector) pre-made short hoses

You don't have both? I've got 2 on the bulkhead and one each motor. Four total filters.

    Who Buys New

Top 10%? I think you only need to make $160k to be in that bracket. They aren't buying the new big boats. I also think median would be more appropriate when comparing net worth. The average American making $160k per year doth not have $8.1M net worth. That data is being massively skewed by...

1998 Sea Ray 400 Sundancer Fuel Valve (tank valve selector) pre-made short hoses

That's been leaking for a while based on the stain below it. Definitely something I'd address before your trip home. Based on the starboard selector being slightly askew, I wonder if the valve is leaking and not the line set, perhaps the prior owner found a position to minimize the leak? You...

    Cracking and/or Deep Cycle Batteries

For what it's worth - I do recommend avoiding cracking batteries :)
