    I had the same issue with mine. It was the ecu. It’s a black box mounted on the rear of the gen. Part alone was about 1k I don’t remember exactly which wire it was. But my gen guy showed me. If you ground one of the white wires on the front of the gen at crank it bypasses all safety’s and if...

    Unfortunately the answer is no. They have different revision numbers and that’s what must match. I’m in the same boat looking for that keypad
