    getting ready to fire up the new motor. It’s got gas and spark and is ready to go. Question. Block is dry, should I fill water through the t stat housing before firing up? Or will the impeller and muffs get it done quick enough? Thanks

    To Foam or not to Foam?

    Probably been asked before. But as I am rebuilding the stringers and deck on my 1976 SRV 240 Weekender. I wonder, why not build some rod lockers or other storage into the below deck area of the boat? Is flotation foam a requirement on a 24 ft boat?? Thoughts?
