Has anyone reupholstered their sunpad on their bowrider? I have a 2001 and it is time. The seams are splitting due to walking on, laying on, and getting baked in the sun. I've talked to a local upholstery shop and received two quotes- 1st for a 1 color 1 piece with no seams and new foam for $600...

Quick (and possibly dumb) question on bottom paint... 95% of my boating is on fresh water lakes and rivers... but the other 5% is taking short trips out into long island sound (salt water). When is it necessary to paint the bottom? :huh:
