Coolers that come with Sea Ray boats

I've got one, but it is too big to fit under the seat where the $hitty Igloo goes. The Hopper 18 would fit but it is too small to fit drinks and food in for a day on the lake.

Coolers that come with Sea Ray boats

Why on earth does a brand like Sea Ray put those crappy Igloo coolers on their boats? If you're too heavy handed, the handles pop off and even if you're delicate the lid will pop off if you push it back too far. Sea Ray should be embarrassed. Anyone found a suitable replacement? Doesn't look...

    What does this switch do?

Could very well be. No one will ever know though. Nobody is hitting 88 mph on any of those boats. Just saying. ;)

Searay has a 5 year warranty. If you have any issues, send it back.

Yes it gets hot, but it does dry quick which is why we like it. A snap in SeaDek option would have been interesting thing to consider though. Love it on the swim platform.

Brunswick selling off Sea Ray brand

I too feel that #5 is a solid reason that helped keep SeaRay under Brunswick's ownership, but you costal guys are too swayed by what you see in saltwater. The interior of this country has almost no outboards except fishing boats, not around here anyway. Everything is I/O powered unless it is a...

    Beach Anchoring

I'd go bow in with a spike anchor in to the sand. Raise the I/O and coast in for a gentle landing. Drive the spike in the sand and be done with it unless it is a windy day and you feel the need for a stern anchor.

    Official 19SPX/21SPX/SPX190/SPX210 Thread

I wouldn't think so if the prop ventilates in a simple turn. If you're sure you aren't trimmed up too far, take it back to Searay and have them take a look. With a 5 year warranty, most all SPXs are still under warranty. Make them fix it.

    Official 19SPX/21SPX/SPX190/SPX210 Thread

Well, to answer my own question, I sent SeaDeck an email and they were very courteous and prompt in replying that they were pretty sure they had partial drawings of the transom and bow pieces that people were wanting most. They did want me to verify if the pieces actually fit before I ordered...

Has anyone done this on a SPX 210 yet? Looking to see if there are templates out there already to order the Sea Deck from.

Brunswick selling off Sea Ray brand

Interesting. We are the opposite. We just this fall picked up a new SPX SeaRay, having been unimpressed with the Cobalt and Crownline offerings.

    Installing Rod Holders?

Do you have the grill already? I've noticed some grills have their own mounting system that just attaches to the gunwale.

Cutting in cup holders in aft cockpit table

Run the bit in reverse the whole time. If you've never used a hole saw, those teeth can grab and almost twist your arm off. Running in reverse prevents this. You're only going through 1/4" of fiberglass so even in reverse, it won't take long. Also, make sure your drill has a 1/2" chuck. You'll...

    RC Jets Anyone

And crashing one of these really really sucks. I flew RC planes and helicopters for 10 years or so back in the day. Crashing is a reality. I kept away from jets. My wallet can't handle losing a $3000 turbine in a crash.
