Hello, I have a 2006 340 Sea Ray, when I raise the anchor, it pulls in too far and digs into my bow. Its pretty tore up so I was wondering if there is some type of stainless guard I could put on, to both cover the abrasions and also to prevent future wear. Thanks in advance

Thats exactly what it was, the fuel control valve is in run but when I turned it to bypass, it started right up. Guess I need a new valve but still feel pretty lucky it wasnt something worse. Thank you for all the help, this site is awesome!!

This worked as you described, turned knob to Bypass and motor started right up! Noticed the Stbd. motor was already in bypass and I have had the boat for 5 years, is there any long term affects on running it that way?
