I currently have a Garmin 4210 in my boat in this exact spot. I believe the measurements (overall) are 13.4”x 8.9. This has a 10” display, it barely fits. I don’t believe there is enough room Here is the the dash piece, contact flounder pounder and give then the cutout of the display you want...

No one on our lake has changed manifolds, unless it came from salt. It’s just not a common thing around here

When my heads were bad I had a 90 on one and 100 on another. My guess is heads

I havent really heard many manifold/risors issues in this area. I know they rust from the inside, just not a reported problem around here

By the pic I shared, I don’t think it’s a lot. I wasn’t sure if it could be from an oil cooler or something simple. Not sure on the coolant part I will ask today

A friend has the same boat and engines as I do. 7.4 horizon fresh water cooled (380hp). He went to change the oil and found water in it. What are the possibilities and most likely causes (paths) for water to get into the oil and where would you start the troubleshooting?

Make sure you fill with fuel, I have heard it’s ok not too, mine didn’t start without it

Just thinking on the cheaper side, when was the last time you changed your water/fuel separator?

Might be able to take it to a motor shop that rewinds starters and alternators and have them go through it

My experience is windless work til they don’t. You won’t hurt the new windless (imo) reusing the old rode. Is the old one rotating slower than it used to, or is it slipping on the old rode?

Tabs, full water tank, and chain rode helps get the nose down
