Hi I just bought a 1991 Sorrento and put on a customized Bimini top with all sides. I only get 39 mile per hour at 4100 with a 19 pitch prop. Does that sound correct? I cannot get high rpm's.

I did get the trim to work and managed to get a WOT of 4400 rpm but my speed on GPS was still only 39 miles an hour. I expected with a 5.7 it would be a lot faster.

Hi The speed is GPS based, what selector switch are you talking about when setting on 8? The boat is clean with 2 people and trimming actually did not make any difference. I will do another run this weekend for verification.

Hi I have a 1991 Sea Ray Serranto 24' Cuddy with a 5.7 alpha one drive. The WOT is only 3800 RPM and I have a top speed of 37 Mile per hour. I have read that my prop is most likely incorrect and it does not have any markings on it, I can say it is a 3 blade stainless prop. Any suggestions...
