I'm just now in the last couple weeks starting to see alot of severely insane overpriced boats, even for this current crazy market. I think people are seeing these high prices and low inventory and just throwing an insanely high asking price for these boats to see if someone bites. They are...
I just saw a local 2002 410 Sundancer listed for 299k! Beautiful boat and he did a great job updating cockpit etc. But I have a feeling that isn't going anywhere at that price.
I'm in the market for a 2005-2009 38-40 Sundancer and I'm not paying anywhere near that price.
I hope I'm right.... but I think the price bubble is coming. I'm starting to see a lot of new boats listed in last couple weeks with astronomically high asking prices, even for this current insane market. I'm thinking no way these can sell with these super inflated prices. Creating more...
Ok, serious question. What is everyone's opinion on how long these inflated prices will last? Last summer we heard 12-18 months then we'll see a fire sale. There is literally no inventory of used Sea Rays from 34'-44'. I'm patiently waiting but with inventory so low I don't see these...
I tend to agree. Especially where you are at. These boats sit up all winter and even in the summer months many people do not use them much. I would think you can find a great deal on a very similar sea ray 3-5 years old with very little use on it. Have you looked and compared the used market?
Had a good buddy with a large old steel hull boat when we were kids. Named it the screamin seaman with little sperms painted around it. We were young and thought it was funny as hell. When we pulled in places people either thought it was hilarious or really offensive. Not sure I would name...
Creek i knew exactly what you meant. And I of course would love any info and ideas for ports along the 30,000 Islands.
This would prob have to be two separate trips. One to the North Channel and then one to the 30,000 islands area.
Creekwood- Of course I want ideas and recommendations on the 30,000 Islands area. We are coming from the South so that area would be ideal. I was reading some blogs about that area and Henry's fish shack etc..
Well certainly some great info so far. A great start to my research and planning. Love the detailed cruising log of the Tik Tock.
Definitely looking forward to this trip. Keep the info coming.
Hello All! New to Club Sea Ray. Currently running a 340 Sundancer but in the market for a 2005-2008 380 Sundancer. We are looking for a good resource and info on taking a about a 10-12 day trip up through Georgian Bay and the North Channel. Coming out of Erie at the Mouth of the Detroit...
